Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a rash along my belt line and it has given me fits and problems for years. I saw a dermatologist over a year ago and he said I was allergic to nickel from my belt buckle without any tests. So I changed all my belt buckles over to sterling silver and still no change. It s now to the point where I don t know what to do. I ve tried every cream known to man with no results. The only topical cream that has worked was Vanos. So I m all out of ideas. Any help would be greatly appreciated
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, if the itching is not responding to steroid or other preparation then it could be fungal infection and here anti-fungal can be added with conventional antiallergic drugs and best choice of drug is "Miconazole cream" Tab Hydroxyzine 10 mg" three times in day can be added in addition hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
