I have a rash which spreads across my left breast and left arm, the rash is like a cluster of blustery rash with a black dot in the middle of the blister, before the rash came out the skin was also burning. It s quite painful now with sharp pain and burning sensation where the rash is. What could this be?
I can understand your concern for hair rash on breast and arms.
After interpretation of your query it appears that you have developed herpes zoster or also commonly known as shingles.
It is typical presentation of shingles to be present on one side of body area with severe pain and burning sensation along with blisters to appear later. It would be best for you to consult a doctor for the best advice.
In my patients I prefer to give antiviral tablet such as Acyclovir as per age and body weight along with supportive therapy.
I also suggest to apply a cream containing gentamycin and give any pain killer tablet for immediate relief. In my patients I prefer to give antibiotic cefixime in proper dose.
An anti-inflammatory tablet such as paracetamol or ibuprofen or diclofenac for 2 times day is quite beneficial to reduce the inflammation and pain.
Do to try to squeeze or burst the area as can get further infected.
All the best.
