Suggest Treatment For Rash On Face And Itching/scabs On Head

I am african american women and had my hair relaxed and colored the same time. However, this happened about 3 weeks ago. Now about 2 weeks ago I discovered itching and scabs on one side of my head along with some puss. Now the rash is along side my face. Is there an OTC product that I can use?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

You can try to clean the area with a mild antiseptic cleanser, this can be done twice daily.

The use of topical antibiotics would also be recommended.

It is possible that the infection may not respond to this topical regimen and you may need to see your doctor so that oral antibiotics can be started.

I hope this helps
