Suggest Treatment For Rash On Inner Thigh With Lumps And Dizziness

Hi, I developed a rash on my inner thigh this morning with lumps, my thumbs swell up a little as well as getting dizzy. But I have had a UTI for the past couple of days, I do not know if I developed allergic reaction to the medication for is it something worse?

Hi thanks for asking question in HCM.
You are suffering from urinary tract infection.You have not mentioned about name of antibiotic.Yes rash and swelling can be because of drug allergy for ex.you may have tendency for allergy to penicillin group of drug.
So if side effects increasing then you can switch over to other group of drugs.Ex.if taking cefixime and can't tolerated then floxacilin group drug can be used.
For treating UTI maintain hydration.Drink more water and fruit juices.
Cranberry extract juice can be helpful.Avoid spicy food.
If still rash and swelling persist then further work up will be done.
