Suggest Treatment For Rash On The Inner Vaginal Lips

Hi, I used Nair to get rid of the hair in my private area... I m guessing I left it on to long cause I have this horrible rash like on the inside of my lips of my vagina...it hurts to wipe,touch,or wash down there... What can i use to soothe the pain and to help it heal?

Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the pain and rash on vaginal lips of inner side indicate abrasions from friction injury. My guidelines at present:
- Even though it hurts, has to clean it with antiseptic liquid or soap once a day
- Local application of aloe vera gel, turmeric paste and calamine lotion and alternate basis every 3 hourly
- Analgesic and anti inflammatory as diclofenac with serratiopeptidase or others
- Avoid use of previously utilised tampons or prolong use of same tampons
- Do not entertain any form of sex activities (including penetrative sex or masturbation also)
