Suggest Treatment For Rashes Below The Navel Spreading Towards The Legs

I have broke out with a rash below the belly also itches, have been putting baby powder on it, has not gotten any better but has spread to where the legs meet the crotch area. Only thing different is I have been taking Night Quil for a cold for about a week.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately.

Based on the history you have shared, it can be intertrigo or fungal infection. Dermatologist review and topical terbinafine may be needed. Oral anti histamines like cetirizine may be needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin,
