Suggest Treatment For Rashes On Arms And Legs

my sister has broke out in a rash all over her arms. She claims she saw some white bugs on the wall and there was one on the bed that went into her leg ?? she went to the emergency room , they have her a shot, it worked for a while but the rash is getting worst and there is a red round place on her leg where she beleived something went in her leg? I have sent her several pictures of parasites and none she says looks like them. not at home to try to find one of the bugs. Is this possible ? Thank you Nina

Hello,

The rash due to a bug or an insect bite will usually stay for a day or two. It can be treated with an antihistaminic injection (Avil). If rashes do persist then a drug like Allegra 180 for 3 to 4 days. Invariably the rashes will be controlled. There is no need to worry about which bug or insect it was.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
