Suggest Treatment For Rashes On Face Of A Child After Taking Zyrcold
Hi my daughter is two and half year old. ..she had cold and I gave zyrcold after 2 doses there was small rashes on her face I applied calamine lotion it disappeared after few hours..then i gave zyrcold after sometimes she had rashes all over the body..earlier also I have given zyrcold but this is the first time she is got rashes..

This rashes is likely due to allergy to zyrcold syrup.
You can give your son syrup cetrizine to combat this allergic symptoms.
It would be better if you can avoid syrup zyrcold (ambroxol) in future and give him alternative cough syrup like codex.
Once allergy is detected even mild rashes form, better to avoid that drug in future.
Consult your GP or family physician for further advice.
