Suggest Treatment For Rashes On Hands, Elbows And Legs
I an allergic to any kind of detergent. and when in contact my hands rash up. I use a cortisone .01% to control. Now my daughter was the dishes and she broke out in her elbows with a small circle rash. when scratched it got bigger and spread to other places that she touched I have been putting Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream but it s taking to long to heal and it s still spreading since she scratches it at night without knowing. what else can I use she has it on both elbows two fingers her back some spots on her arms and legs
As per your query you daughter have symptoms of contact dermatitis which is mainly due to allergic reaction to one of the ingredients. Need not to worry.
- First and foremost solution is avoid contact with allergen, which can be done by wearing gloves while doing such kind of work.
- Keep area clean and dry.
- Apply coconut oil to avoid itching and cortisone to avoid further spread.
Visit dermatologist once, and go for allergic test and start treatment accordingly.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry
