General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Scabies is a condition caused by an infection by mites. It usually is seen between the fingers and behind the knee. It's possible that the rash you are experiencing is not scabies but is something else. It would not be appropriate for me to make a diagnosis without seeing images of the rash. I would like to help if you could provide me with the details. STDs do not usually present with a rash on the knees.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Pranav Balakrishnan, General & Family Physician
