Suggest Treatment For Rashes On The Ankles

I have a rash that has broken out at my ankles. There is some redness and brown spots. One ankle has a knot and hurts to touch. It also has a little spot that appears to be puss under the skin. It is not an open sore. I have had them for several months.

It may be varicose veins.
Can you post picture, or approach a doctor for specialist evaluation.
