Suggest Treatment For Rashes On The Entire Body Caused By An Insect Bite

Greetings; I am wanting to find out if there is a rash of insect bites going around. I have apparently picked up some kind of bug bite which is affecting my entire body- legs, arms, abdomen, ankles, buttocks. The bite starts out as feeling like a mosquito bite, only three times more itch and appears suddenly. If I scratch it, I get temporary relief but returns again usually within hours. Over the period of the last 2 weeks, I find the bites become red with a trauma like appearance. I currently have over 25 bites on my body. I work outdoors and am in grass or tall weeds from time to time. Although my work site changes almost daily, I continue to get new bites. My wife has not experienced the bites even though we sleep together and share the same home and furniture. We were wondering if this might be a blood borne issue?
