Suggest Treatment For Rashes On The Legs

I have a friend who has a weird rash on her leg, it kind of looks like blisters, or pimples, but it is all over the whole leg. she does not know what she would have got into to get it,. she is a teacher and I am concerned that it may be something contagious that could be spread to her students. what possible things could cause a rash on the legs? she just said she has one on her upper arm also... they started off itchy

Ok, blistering over a significant region is always serious. It could be a spreading infection or an autoimmune disease or quite a bad allergic reaction, but it could seriously scare or damage the leg internally.
Then, there's adult chicken pox which has about a 1 in 100 mortality rate due to spreading to the lung (curable with antivirals) and popping out with shingles ... quite possible if it is on one belt of blisters...much less likely but showing serious problems if it is in more than one region.
