Suggest Treatment For Rashes On The Torso, Arms And Legs
My son has a rash on torso and arm and legs. He has been tested for lames disease but hasn t gotten results yet. Today his left side of his tongue is numb.. His left eye and cheek also feel like he had a shot of novocaine. Could this be Bell s Palsy? And what, besides antibiotics should he be doing?
The symptoms you explain (numbness in the one side of the tongue and also of the cheek) can be due to Bell's palsy. It is important that he lets his doctor know of new symptoms and be properly examined to determine if it is just Bell's palsy (related to the peripheral nerve only) or is it a palsy that is due to brain lesions (central palsy).
I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.
Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
