Suggest Treatment For Rashes Similar To Hives On Face
Hello Dr. I have been getting white patches, rash like hives n skin bumps wherever there is slightest pressure. My Dr. has prescribed zimig cream, HHFUDIC cream. Wats the difference between these two? Which of these leads to pimples if applied on face?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have rashes similar to hives which occurs when body give response to some external stimuli or some kind of allergen . Introduction of allergen to skin cause release of some chemical which makes rashes and can lead to urticaria. I would suggest you to to find out the trigger factor which is a complicated thing , But the prevention of hives is he best thing one can do . So try to avoid the trigger factor. Give cold compresses to reduce itchiness . Give cold compresses several times a day. Consult dermatologist for proper diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe steroid therapy with prednisone. Till then take antihistamine drug and take anti-allergic medications such as Zyrtec(Cetrizine) and Benadryl.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
