Hello, Because the test for strep infection came out negative it is very likely your daughter might be having viral infections. Sometimes after going through a viral infection, patients might get a different one in a few days and have similar symptoms. Upper respiratory infection may cause both sore throat and eye redness which generally go away within a week. Meanwhile you can get some pain killers to help with the pain, use personal towels when your eyes are red and watery (do not share towels), drink plenty and try to rest as possible.
