Suggest Treatment For Recurrent Fainting Spells And Low BP Indicate?
My husband is a recent pancreas & kidney transplant recipient and he has been having low Blood Pressure 84/53, 81/47 he has been put on Midodrine 10 mg TID however it is not helping he has had 3 fainting spells or falls were he has that blank stare and just goes down I have to shout is name several times for him to come too. What could be going on

Frequent fainting is caused by lack of blood in the brain which directly related to the low blood pressure. This may be caused by many factors including low heart rate Bradycardia, low fluid in the body or due to drugs you may be using. You need to check you heart rate, kidney tests, urine and follow the blood pressure reading keenly. If you still have the same problems more test will be needed like thyroid functions tests, cortisol levels.
