Suggest Treatment For Recurrent Shingles Infection
My mom has gotten a break out of the shingles for the third time within 8 months. She is 90 years old and very weak. it appears under her right breast only, goes away, but seemed to come back when she gets stressed. She is very difficult to get out of the house. The Dr. Has prescribed something for it now 2 times ( it starts with a F but the name is failing me now). Is there anything over the counter that I can get this Mild case of the Shingles. Thank you
thanks for posting your query to HCM .Shingels is a viral infection having tendency for repeated attack among immunocompromised individuals. I dont know what medication she had recieved but Acyclovir is the drug usually given to treat such infection . I suggest you to consult a skin physician and request him to start antiviral medication for complete relief.
