Suggest Treatment For Recurrent Sinus Issues And Bronchitis

I am in remission from Graves for five months. I now have a sinus issue and bronchitis (per yesterday s visit to doctor). Prescribed doxy-cycline HYC at 100 mg cap twice per day. Have been reluctant to start out of concern of relapsing to Graves. I was in remission for 15 months prior to my last relapse in 2014, when I needed to take antibiotics for a tooth infection. Is there any research on which antibiotic would least likely cause a relapse?

Hello,

Consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated.

As a first line management, you can start on antibiotics.

If conservative measures fail you can opt for newer techniques like FESS.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
