Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Suggest Treatment For Recurrent Small Bumps In My Mouth And Throat
I have recurrent small bumps in my mouth and throat. They usually last a day or less. Trying to connect them to foods or drinks, but haven t been able to make any definite connection, except maybe lemon (I drink alot of lemon in my iced tea ... iced tea?).
Since you are having a lot of lemon in your daily food and drink it is triggering the bumps in your mouth & throat. Citrus fruits or acidic fruits or vegetables trigger oral problems (bumps, canker sores, cold sores, etc). You are suggested to quit taking lemons, oranges, pineapples, tomatoes, apples, strawberries or figs.
Get physically examined by an ENT. You need antibiotics. Get treated at the earliest. In the meantime gargle with warm saline water or Listerine water.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
