Suggest Treatment For Recurrent Tonsil Stones

I suffer from tonsil stones quite frequently. Recently it has been very painful. Typically they are located in my palatine tonsils and i can poke them out. For the last month my throat has been very sore on the right side when i swollow. This does not feel like a strep throat pain but more like a tonsil stone pain, but behind my tongue. Can you get tonsil stones in your lingual tonsils and how do you remove them as i cannot see the root of the cause? Any advice is appreciated. I made a drs appointment last friday and they literally found nothing wrong which is horribly discouraging what with the pain ive been dealing with!

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
if you are suffering from tonsil stones and having pain due to that and it's affecting your life on and off very frequently
consider getting it removed
Prolong illness and affection of quality of life is a known indication of surgery.
Once tosils are removed, no stone will be there and no pain will be there.
I will advise you to consult to an ENT surgeon for assessing your tonsils and further advise.
wish you all the best
