Suggest Treatment For Recurrent Tonsillitis
I was recently diagnosed with tonsillitis (no pain or symptoms but pus and white spots on tonsils) and put on a 10 day course of antibiotics (2 in the morning, 2 in the evenin). Around 2 days after taking the antibiotics the pus and white spots cleared. I forgot an evening dose at the weekend but continued to take as normal. On Sunday evening (day after missed dose) I noticed the pus has returned along with what looks like red/purple veins on the tonsils too. Is it possible the tonsillitis has returned due to the missed dose or could it be something else? I have no pain swallowing, don t have a sore throat or any other symptoms, just the white pus on tonsils.
