I HAVE BEEN REPORTED URINARY TRACT INFECTION BY THE DOCTOR AFTER A URINE TEST. I AM TAKING AN ANTIBIOTIC NOROXIN PRESCRIBED BY THE DOCTOR. BUT INFECTION IS RELIEVED ONLY UNTIL THE MEDICATION STOPPED. AS I STOPPED THE DOSE THE INFECTION STARTS AGAIN. PLEASE HELP ME. THANKS

Will require culture and sensitivity test to identify appropriate antibiotic. You need to get your urine sample tested with starting of appropriate antibiotic for longer duration. At the end of therapy, repeat urine analysis is necessary to confirm complete treatment. 3. If urinary tract infection, still persists, you need to get an ultrasound abdomen and a pyelogram to identify any structural abnormalities. 4. Improve your immune system with protein, vit A, Vit C and B-complex supplements. Also take plenty of water. Cranberry juice will be helpful. Meet your doctor for tests and prescription.
