Suggest Treatment For Recurring UTI

My son is 16 years old, he was suffering from UTI infection got cured with kanamycin, 15 days later fever relapses this time we found is ti typhoid started with Augmentin 625 BD after 2 days fever did not subsided started cipro 500 BD along with augmentin 2 more days are passed still fever persisting.

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
He has urinary tract infection and now has typhoid. Treatment of typhoid is ofloxacin or levofloxacin now a days. Cipro may not be effective now. Also check his urine once to rule out recurrent urinary tract infection. Go for widal tube test and check the titre. Fever may remains there after few days of antibiotics. It is common. Nothing to worry about that.
