Suggest Treatment For Recurring Diarrhea And Stomach Cramps

I have been having diarrhea and stomach cramps for a week now off and on. When I take 2 imodiums it stops and I feel better. Don t know what to eat?. About a month and 1/2 ago I started taking an Ultimate Flora Probiotic daily. I did well on it, than I started thinking, maybe this is what is causing this problem, so I stopped them. What can I take to calm my stomach and reduce the swelling ??

Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the basic cause sounds to be intestine infection with food or water induced bug. Following measures additional help from:
- Intake of plenty of liquids in terms of boiled water, lemon juice, coconut water, butter milk
- Dietary precautions to prefer easily digestible food stuffs
- Prescription of antibiotic such as Tinidazole or Metronidazole antispasmodic medicine as Drotaverine or Mefenamic acid

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
