Suggest Treatment For Recurring Fever And Weakness

Hello people, I ve been having problems with my health recently. I get random fevers at evening time, which started 1 month ago. Addition to this is a weak and tired feeling, combined with shivering. I ve visited a hospital for blood analysis and only white bloodcells were increased, the rest of the values were all normal. I am a 20 year old male. I have done some kissing recently, no STD s as Hepatitis B or HIV can be the cause of this. I did however kiss with one girl who has a sore lip currently, which resembles Herpes Virus a lot. I have been checked thoroughly for malaria, which has been excluded. Does anyone have an answer for the fevers during evening and the weak feeling and shivering. Ps. Fever is mild, approx 38-39 degrees C.

Hello,

As per my clinical experience, a low grade recurring fever for a period of 1 month associated with weakness can be related to infectious mononucleosis, a viral infection transmitted by kissing most likely.

The condition requires systemic examination with:
- Skin rashes
- Temperature chart
- Size of liver, spleen (enlargement if any)

In my clinic, I do recommend test with Monospot test of the blood for such condition and guide accordingly.
