Suggest Treatment For Recurring Fever, Runny Nose And Vomiting In A Toddler

Hi, my 3 year old has had a temperature of 39/40 degrees today with a slightly runny nose which is clear, I managed to get his temp down with Calpol and ibruprofen but it spiked again around 7pm so gave him some ibruprofen and at 7.30pm he vomited so is still very hot. Any advice on what this could be would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you for the concern. Your son has got recurring fever with running nose so it suggest upper respiratory tract infection. You are giving him symptomatic treatment but you need to start antibiotics by consulting your treating pediatrician.
