Suggest Treatment For Recurring Fever

Hi..my son and daughter both are in fever since 1 week.earlier doc gave my son cifran 200 and test for dengue malaria came negative.doctor has switched to taxim o 200 saying it is typhoid.daughter is also on taxim o since 5 days.fever comes back after 4 to 5 hrs.pls reply

Fever is a symptom of an underlying disease. There are many causes of fever such as malaria, typhoid, infectious mononucleosis, TB, Dengue etc.
Advice
1.     Continue Taxim as advised
2.     Paracetamol 500 mg per oral if fever occurs
3.     Cold water sponging if fever is more than 100 degree Farenheight
4.     Investigations – CBC and Widal test
If fever is not relieved by above measure then go to hospital for further management.
