Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I went skydiving on Sunday and about halfway down my fall after the parachute deployed I started getting this migraine behind my left eyeball which was extremely painful. It started getting better after a few minutes but comes back in waves every so often. It is now Tuesday morning and I awoke to the same migraine coming back with a vengeance. It is super painful and I don t know what to do about it. It is seeming to get better now about thirty minutes after waking. I also took one of my mothers migraine pills because I couldn t take the pain anymore. Sumatritan I believe it is called. I m feeling a little better now but have a feeling its not gone for good yet. I don t have health insurance... what should I do? Thank you
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, if this is the pure form of migraine then it could be due to some functional elements and I actually advise to all my patients with same complaint if ever come, to come out of this condition by controlling the thoughts, relaxation therapy, meditation, yoga, at the time of pain it can be managed with "Tab Acetaminophen and Chlordiazepoxide" else this is nothing to worry, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
