Suggest Treatment For Recurring Miscarriage Due To Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome
iam 31 i had 3 miscarriages i was diagnosed as having antiphospholipid antibody syndrome and my husband is having 9qh karyotyping abnormality what will be the consequences and what are treatment options what will the side effects with these two problems
The treatment of the anti-phospholipid syndrome is tough and the chances of miscarriages are high, especially in your first trimester. I would recommend you to consult your gynecologist and rheumatologist, they will start your treatment and that will include low dose steroids and immuno-suppressants that will control the disease and this the chances of pregnancy may be raised.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
