Suggest Treatment For Recurring Pink Eye After Recovering From Staph Infection
my daughter 24 yr old had a bad case of staph infection last year. now she is getting pink eye, stye's and/or viral infections about every 6 weeks. is there anything we can do to help this? it appears the staph infection has caused an on-going sset of issues.
Hi The first thing you should follow in such a case is strict ocular hygiene. Not to touch the eyes by unclean hands. Always keep a clean white cotton hand key for that.No eye cosmetics.Minimum use of soap/face wash around eyes.No unnecessary water splash into the eyes. Warm compress may be of help. These will prevent the recurrence. But be in touch with a community/gen ophthalmologist locally. All the best.
