Suggest Treatment For Recurring Red And Watery Eyes With Unclear Vision
Hi, about 2 months ago. I developed some kind of eye infection. I went to my eye Dr. He prescribed eye drop for conjunctivitis. When I finished the drops about 4 days later it came back. I went back to the eye dr. He gave me another prescription the the same eye drop medicine. I finished the drops on a Wednesday and by Friday I had it again. This time he said lets try a antihistamine eye drop. I paid 90.00 for I have been taking the eye drops for a week now and my eye are still red, very watery and my vision is not clear. He said for me not to use visine eye drops that I was having a reaction to them.. I just have no idea at this point what is going on? But I pretty sure these 90 dollar eye drops are not working.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, here the viral infection need to be ruled out some time it take little longer time to come around steroid can be used but it has to be administered under the care of ophthalmologist, in my opinion better to have second opinion, clinical examination of eye is very necessary for proper diagnosis, hope this information helps.
