i have shingles, this is my 5th outbreak and i am too young to get the vaccine. but with this outbreak all i have gotten is pain no red blisters nothing just pain and this pain is in my armpit area and has travelled behind my left shoulder blade to the middle of my left breast up towards the middle of my arm from my left shoulder. i have an antiviral and a narcotic perscription but nothing seems to help. i feel like i have a boulder tied to my back and everytime i move or do something it feels like its getting tighter
The treatment for recurring shingles is the same as for shingles. If you suspect that you have recurring shingles, see your doctor as soon as possible. Taking an antiviral drug like acyclovir (Zovirax), valacyclovir (Valtrex), or famciclovir (Famvir) can reduce the severity of shingles and reduce how long it lasts.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
