Suggest Treatment For Recurring Shooting Pain In Lower Left Abdomen, Arms And Legs

I have recurring shooting pains I my lower left abdomen. Additionally, I have lots of shooting pains through my arms and legs. I have recently been doing a lot of moving of furniture and pulling/pushing heavy objects. Does this seem like a normal reaction? I am a 55 year old female who is not in the best of shape. Thank you!

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Shooting pain is usually related to issues involving the nerves.Nerve related pain is called neuralgia.

There are different possible causes for neuralgia such as including trauma. It is possible that there was some trauma to the nerves in the affected areas or in the back where the nerves originate.

If the trauma was minor, repair is possible though this can take weeks to months to occur.

There are also other causes of neuralgia such as diabetes, liver or kidney disease, side effect of medication, vitamin b12 or folate deficiency.

Your doctor may want to rule out one of these causes.

I hope this helps
