Suggest Treatment For Recurring Yeast Infection And Brownish Discharge

I have reoccurring yeast infections of grainy brownish discharge. Nothing thick and gooey. It always happens when I my boyfriend and I have a lot of intercourse. I have been using apple cider vinegar soaked tampons to help but had to break out the diflucan again. Also swelling and lots of itching on the outside. Why does this continue to happen ?

thanks for asking Your query here

coming to your concern...If you come down with frequent yeast infections (four or more in a single year), you probably have a condition known as recurren Vulvovaginal candidiasis.
there are a number of risk factors that can predispose you to it
including -

-Things that alter your normal hormone balance, including pregnancy ,Contraceptive pills etc ,Frequent use of antibiotics ,Clothing that is Tight fitting and synthetic, keeping the vaginal area moist and warm, poor hygiene or Very Little Chances are there that your partner may transfer it to you (if he has symptoms )
it can be treated with anti fungal medicines like Clotrimazole ,Fluconazole
You can Apply topical Ointment containing anti fungal medicine
on external parts of vagina

but i would strongly advise You to have an visit to Your Doc. To get it examine
he will check it and will prescribe you according to the condition

For Further prevention Of the Condition please Read this-

As yeast loves the warm, moist condition of the vagina so if you wear Synthetic underwear, switch to cotton
if you wear Pajama bottoms, go bare instead for better air circulation to the vaginal area while you sleep
if you wear Tight jeans or spandex, swap them for more breathable materials
