Suggest Treatment For Recurring Yeast Infections And Genital Herpes
Hi, I am a Type 1 diabetic and have yeast infections often. I also have genital herpes. Right now I have a yeast infection that typically goes away easy with OTC yeast infection cream. I have used it for two days now and it seems to be getting worse. I also started taking acyclovir just in case it is an outbreak and I am getting the two confused....but the whole outside of my vagina is terribly itchy and burns a little. Ugh. Is it common for yeast infections to get worse with treatment?
Hi i did review your concern. If the yeast infection is not controlled with topical creams I would recommend you to consult a doctor and begin oral antifungal treatment in terms of intraconazole or fluconazole.
i hope this helps. wish you all the best. Thank you for choosing healthcaremagic.
