Suggest Treatment For Red And Itchy Rashes On The Face

I have a rash on the left side of my face. It started with a single bump and is now red, oozing, some itching, rash under my eye down to my cheek. I also have one bump, red, swollen, and now scabbed over oozing on my left pinky finger. I cannot attribute it to allergies, from food or outside, although I am allergic to many plants in Ohio. I haven t been outside around plants in days. Bug bite? Somethiing else?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As a first line management, you can apply low potency steroid creams like betamethasone for symptomatic relief. If the lesion persists, it is better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.

You can also take antihistamines like cetirizine for itching.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
