Suggest Treatment For Red And Painful Cut On The Penis Head

My name is Charles and I wanna know what to do. First my problem started with a cut on my head of my penis. I believe it was caused by my pubic hairs from masturbating. Then it turned into a bump that was painful. Now it s red and painful. I m starting to worry. I looked up everything and I still don t know what it is.

Hi,

Noted your history and understood the concerns about the cut on glans that has grown into a bump and is now painful, most probably due to hair while masturbating.
It is very rare to see such patients that get a cut due to hair while masturbating but let us assume this to be possible.
Conversion to a bump that is painful indicates an infection that needs a proper examination by your Doctor, investigations if there is any history of unprotected sex and also get STD panel so that an appropriate management with antibiotics and supportive medications can be done.
Till then clean the affected area with plain water.
Apply Liquid Povidone iodine.
No masturbation.
