Suggest Treatment For Red And Purple Pus Filled Spots On Face

My husband, 63 years old, has a red/purple pus like spots on right side of face - has had off and on for years but this time was given desonide cream 0.05 and it is causing warming tingling and a lot of pus spots - I had him take baking soda and Epson salt in warm water to soak on face and helped some - but need to know what to do now

Hi, your husban needs oral antibiotics, in addition to topical ones and local cold/ice compress!

tab. azithromycin 500 mg once daily for 3 days and silver sullfadiazine /povidone iodine ointment
