Suggest Treatment For Red Blotchy Rash Under The Arm Pit
I have a rash under my armpit for several weeks now. It doesn t itch or hurt in any way. It is a red blotch and won t go away. I use triple ointment on it night and day and it seem to almost go away but returns if I stop using the ointment. any suggesting of what it is and how to get rid of it. Thanks Sonny
You are suffering from red blotchy rash under the armpit for several weeks. It does not hurt but is resistant and does not go away. It occurs due to poor hygiene, heat rash, wearing tight clothes, skin infection, harsh shaving habits, chafing, fungal infection, etc. You are suggested to take care of your hygiene. Take antihistamines to reduce discomfort.
Apply antifungal powder and antifungal ointment like clotrimazole on the area affected. However, you are suggested to get clinically examined by a dermatologist. You may need the some injections to control sweating that triggers your symptoms.
To hasten the healing process, avoid irritating the affected region. Regular friction and disruption can aggravate a red underarm rash.
Wear soft cotton clothes.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
