General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

We will try to help you in the best way possible. First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately.

Based on the history you have shared, you need to have coagulation profile and blood counts including platelets need to be done for cause or swelling.

Such swellings may be a sign of vasculopathy and detailed examination, Doppler ultrasound of lower legs may be needed keeping a history of diabetes in a picture. Local ice application may also be helpful.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
