Suggest Treatment For Red Bumps After Navel Piercing
I have a little red bump under my belly piercing which I think is a keloid, sometimes whitey-yellow puss comes out of it when I clean it ( I clean it with sea salt and warm water) Im 100% sure that it is not infected cause it is not red/painful, but for some reason, it smells really bad, what is this?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
As per your complain pus and foul smell from the site of naval piercing are definite sins of infection and only cleaning with salt water will not cure.. You should remove the naval ring and clean the area with povidone iodine solution and drain the pus by pressing and after cleaning apply a Triple Antibiotic Ointment over it. Gradually the infection will subside and then you can continue wearing the naval ring..
Hope this helps..
Thanks and regards..
