Suggest Treatment For Red Eye With Discharge

Hi my son has red eye with a yellowish pus coming out.. Has cold like symptoms was complaining of sore throat before.. Just started this afternoon.. Low grade temp99.7.. I have some over the counter drops.. Should I give them to him? Clear eyes drops

We do not suggest OTC products for such important organ as eye. It's better you had gone to ophthalmologist.

However if you love your child and are not in position to go to eye specialist as of now, please boil slowly, trifla Ayurveda herbal powder 1 tablespoon in 250 ml of water. When 1/4 remains, take out, cool and filter. Put drops in eyes 3-4 times a day. Totally safe. No harm. Do continuously for a week or more. Everyday fresh decoction please. This is well accepted, time tested, Ayurveda home remedy. Even small blockages in lacrymal duct may be opened without need of mechanical measures. Infection may also clean.
