Suggest Treatment For Red Itchy Bumps On Groin And Burning Sensation During Urination
I m 18 and I have these red itchy bumps and they burn whenever I urinate. I noticed it after I wore a thong for the first time and it just keeps getting worse and the bumps hurt to the touch. I don t know what to do. I am sexually active however my fiance and I lost our virginities to each other and havent slept with anyone else. Any thoughts?
Hello and welcome to HCM, Red itchy bumps on groin region can be due to fungal infection or sexually transmitted disease (STD). Is there associated burning urination also? If you are experiencing burning urination, then an urine examination is also required to look for infection in the urine. If urinary tract infection (UTI) is present then it has to be treated with antibiotic course. The rash on the genitalia also needs to be examined. A scraping from the rash will be helpful to find out the cause of rash and thus plan its management. refrain from unprotected sex till the rash is cured.
