Hello Dr. I m 19. I have seen red patch under breasts and i m irritated by red rashed,chafed genetal area.its my mairage aftr 4 days and i m so much worried to remove genetal hairs. i tested Vjohn's hair removal rerulted burn blood red skin. please suggest me how to cure and remove hairs fast. please. Dr. please can u help me in free? i my dad knows credit card no.
Inflammed, dry scaly skin in the groin area, suggests to me that it could be due to fungal infection over there (Tinea cruris).
I would ask you get a KOH wet mount from the scale, for a confirmatory diagnosis.
If KOH wet mount shows fungal elements, then you could apply a topical OTC antifungal cream e.g clotrimazole cream, twice daily for 4-6 weeks.
An oral antifungal e.g fluconazole 150mg once weekly for 4-6 weeks is also advisable for a confirmed fungal infection.
An OTC antihistamine e,g cetrizine 10mg once daily would help you in providing symptomatic relief from itching.
