Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi I have recently completed a 100k walk/run, a couple of hours afterwards I had a small red lump on the side of my right foot, just before my ankle bone. It went down within a couple of hours, although it was sore for a couple of days. I did my first run since then last night and this morning the side of my foot is quite sore and goes underneath my foot (feels like I am walking on a bruise) when I walk
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern. Discussion:- Such lump like appearance could be lymph node, this is nothing to worry unless have some clinical symptoms or increasing in size. Medication:-NA Advise:- Keep the condition under observation like change in size, tenderness. Comments:- With appearance of symptom this need to be clinically examined and may need some investigations. Hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
