Suggest Treatment For Red Or Purple Skin Discoloration Due To Raynaud S Disease

I have had Raynauds in my hands for several years. In the past 2 days the ring finger of my right hand looks like Raynauds (white skin) on my finger tip but the next digit is shiny red/purple and feels itchy. Warm moist heat eased some symptoms on the finger tip but the middle digit remains discolored. Thoughts?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Purple discoloration in Raynaud`s disease is due to vasoconstriction of peripheral blood vessels.
If there is no significant improvement after warm moist heat, I suggest visiting your family doctor for further management with vasodilator drugs prescription.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
