Suggest Treatment For Red Rashes On The Lower Abdomen
I just realized that I have a rash on my lower abdomen. Mainly from just above my navel to about my underwear line. Not painful, not very itchy - red, raised fairly large bumps, generally in clusters. It extends up the right side of my torso as well, but there s nothing on my left torso. They look quite angrily red, but are not actually causing discomfort. Should I be worried / go see a doctor?
Hello, Rash on the area and it’s appearance you mentioned can be due to various reasons like allergy to some element that came in contact with the skin or some infectious cause. Have you lost or put on a lot of weight recently in a short time? As there are chances of skin getting stretched during this which results in stretch marks formation.
Even though its not itchy, I would suggest you see a dermatologist and get it checked once. As seeing a doctor is better than thinking and worrying about it. A dermatologist will be able to guide you on this regarding cause as well as treatment.
Hope this helps. Feel free to contact for any further query in the future.
