Suggest Treatment For Red Spots On The Tip Of The Tongue
Hello, so for the past two days I've had these small red spots at the tip of my tongue, that bother me a lot. Usually when I eat something warm I get pain on my tongue, like a burning sensation, but when I have something cold I am fine. If I rub my tongue in my mouth the top of my tongue hurts, as if it were burning. I don't know what to do, what is it? Also now I just brushed my teeth and my tongue, to keep my oral hygiene and I was bleeding very little
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of red spots on the tip of the tongue which is mainly because of inflammation of papillae of tongue. Another possible cause for this is frictional keratosis of tongue with continuous irritation with sharp edges of teeth.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles and consult oral physician once and get complete examination done and doctor may prescribe antibiotics (amoxicillin) for a week. Drink plenty of water. Maintain oral hygiene by brushing and flossing. Avoid intake of sharp and spicy food substances. Use steroid ointment on the localized area for immediate relief. Don't chew on citrus food substances. Apply dologel on tip of tongue.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Best Wishes.
