Suggest Treatment For Red Swollen Lump Causing Severe Itching
I was bitten by a Nairobi eye (red/black insect) 10 days ago. It was swollen and red for 2 days then it looked like a bad burn and all the skin has just peeled off. Now it s looking dry, lumpy to touch and pink like excma plus itches. I have no idea what ointment I m meant to be putting on it. I have antibiotic powder should I put that on it. Or just let it heal on it s own? How long does it usually take for effected area to disappear it s about two inches long and an inch across. Thank you

I really appreciate your concern, if this is insect bite then condition can be managed with, neomycin with any steroid preparation this can be applied surround the eye, even does not matter if gone inside the eye, but of course you would get good result of this, if the symptoms dose not improved then it need to be clinically examined, hope this information helps, take care.
